Michael B. Jordan and Steve Harvey have a cordial relationship. More than a year after their breakup with Lori Harvey, Steve Harvey and Michael B. Jordan were seen hugging one another at an NBA game.
Over a year after Jordan’s breakup with Harvey’s stepdaughter Lori Harvey, the 36-year-old Black Panther star and the Family Feud presenter were reunited at the NBA Abu Dhabi Games 2023 on Thursday.
The NBA posted a snapshot of Jordan smiling broadly as he bent down to give Harvey, 66, a hug on the NBA’s official Instagram page.
The NBA captioned the photo, “All smiles at #NBAinAbuDhabi!,” tagged the two stars, and used the hashtag “NBACelebRow” to draw attention to their positive facial expressions.
The basketball league also released a video of the two hands shaking. They started out by shaking hands, then Jordan moved in for a hug, and they were both grinning the whole time.
Steve remarked on an edition of The Steve Harvey Morning Show after the actor and Lori split up in June 2022 that he was “team Lori, 1,000 percent.” She’s my little girl. I’m on her side, and I adore her.
“Things happen,” the TV presenter said. Having a happy relationship as a young celebrity might be challenging. As long as everyone can part ways amicably, I don’t see any problem here. As far as I know, nobody has reported any broken windows or anything else.
Steve also remarked on the show, “As long as you don’t put your hands on my daughter, I don’t give a damn what you do.”
The TV presenter had gushed about Jordan being a “nice guy” when the actor and his daughter made their relationship public in January 2021.
Let’s get one thing straight, right from the bat. In February of 2021, he said on Jimmy Kimmel Live! that he is a decent man, adding, “This youngster… He’s very cool, actually. I hope he succeeds.
In the same month of 2021, he said on Newscase (the TV Show!), “I don’t talk publicly about this sort of thing, but I’m thrilled for my daughter right now. Actually, I am. I’ve never felt pleased for her [in a relationship] before, but now I do. And this is the first time she’s ever felt really content.
Simply put, he’s a decent human being. ‘Cause I have ways,’ the Family Feud presenter said; if he wasn’t, “get him out of here. But I can’t say anything negative about you, guy. Simply put, he comes from an awesome clan. He has a deep spirituality.
