Puka Nacua, a Los Angeles Rams wide receiver, is expected to be out for a week after suffering a knee injury on Sunday, according to sources. One source, however, said Nacua’s injuries were “not serious.”
Nacua departed the Rams’ joint practice with the Los Angeles Chargers on Sunday after cautiously standing up during a team exercise.
Coach Sean McVay said after practice that he did not know what happened to Nacua, who established rookie records for catches (105) and receiving yards (1,486) in 2023.
The Rams will have Monday off and go back to work on Tuesday.
The Rams’ newest injury in training camp comes as three-fifths of their starting offensive line is out. Right tackle Rob Havenstein (ankle) and left guard Jonah Jackson (shoulder) are regarded as week-to-week, while left tackle Alaric Jackson has an ankle issue.
In addition, cornerback Darious Williams has a hamstring strain, which McVay said the club would treat “a week at a time.”
