Kyle Anderson Signs 3-Year Warriors Contract, Golden State has allegedly signed free agents.
Reports indicate that the Warriors and the Minnesota Timberwolves are finalizing a deal in which the Warriors will get Anderson in exchange for cash and a future second-round selection. Anderson will join the Warriors thanks to a Traded Players Exception that was made possible by Klay Thompson’s departure.
According to reports, the third year was not promised as part of the arrangement.
Anderson, who is 30 years old, played with the Timberwolves for the previous two years. Last season, he averaged 6.4 points, 4.2 assists, and 3.5 rebounds. He can play many positions up front and has great vision and passing abilities.
Before spending four years with the Memphis Grizzlies, Anderson suited up for four years in San Antonio.
Additionally, Jerry Stackhouse and Terry Stotts will be joining the Warriors’ coaching staff. Both members of Steve Kerr’s staff have extensive backgrounds as head coaches.
Stackhouse has coached in the G League and the Southeastern Conference since retiring as a player, while Stotts was a successful member of the Trail Blazers for nine years.
