The fifth installment of the grand theft auto series was released in 2013, and we still play it to this day. After GTA 4 was released, fans were eager for a long time to see a sequel, and when this game was released, it definitely lived up to the excitement. The game is based around 3 main characters with all different backstories, what they do have in common is living a life of crime. This open-world game tells the player a fantastic and emotional story, players can go at their own pace as there are many side missions to complete. Even just driving around and causing chaos in free mode without completing any missions never gets old. It’s been a long time since this game was released and it’s still being updated to this day. Although, fans are slowly but surely becoming very impatient waiting on the next installment of the series. Many have put the long wait of GTA 6 down to the success of its predecessor, GTA 5 is still making a lot of money through microtransactions to this day which is why rockstar isn’t in a rush to release a new game. At the very least, GTA 6 has at least been confirmed to be in the making. Anyways, we would definitely say that GTA 5 is one of the best video games of the 2010s.
