Nembhard, one of the breakthrough stars of the 2024 Eastern Conference playoffs, agreed to the maximum permissible salary on a three-year contract. According to reports, the Pacers will refuse his $2.2 million club option for 2025-26, enabling him to begin his new contract next year. Nembhard became eligible to sign the agreement on Monday.
After being drafted No. 31 overall out of Gonzaga in 2022, Nembhard has been a significant Pacers growth story in his two NBA seasons.
